What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of hands-on healing that involves enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal itself through the transfer of energy (Chi, Ki or Qi). Reiki has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, clears energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new levels of energy and vitality, and raises the body’s vibrational frequency.
Uses
Reiki helps relieve physical pain, boost the immune system, calm the mind, balance the emotions and elevate one’s energy. It can be a soothing source of spiritual (non-dogmatic or religious) connection for many. Reiki Healing can be used on self, others, pets, plants, crystals and more.
Who is it for?
The beauty of Reiki is that anyone can learn it, and everyone can benefit from it.
Most of my stu
dents initially come to Reiki trainings because they want a tool they can use any time, anywhere, to ground, balance, clear, and amplify their energy. It’s a great way to deepen meditation and other self-healing practices. It often launches folks into a deep healing journey that continues unfolding for years.
Reiki is also a wonderful adjunct for healing practitioners such as therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, energy healers, shamanic practitioners, teachers etc. who would like to add a gentle energy healing art to their practice and work.

Reiki Level I
Prerequisite: None required.
Includes: Reiki Level I Certification and Manual
In this training you’ll learn the history, ethics, principles, and practice of Reiki. You’ll receive a Reiki attunement – clearing blocks and opening energetic channels that begin a 21-day energetic cleanse. You’ll learn the hand positions for giving in-person, hands-on treatments to others and yourself. This class can help you begin the journey of healing, creating more harmony and peace in your daily life, increase your well-being, and certify you as a Reiki Level I Practitioner.
The Price of the training is $180
Level I Refresher: I offer a special refresher price for those who have already attended a Reiki Level I Training (with myself or another teacher) and have already undergone level I attunement. It’s a great way to review the teachings and get more experience giving and receiving a session.
Refresher Price: $80 – Includes class instruction and hands-on treatment. Does not include attunement or manual. If you wish to receive a manual, it can be purchased at the class. If you wish to be re-attuned, (recommended if you had a “distance” or other questionable attunement experience previously), you must pay in full for the training.
Reiki Level II
Prerequisite: Reiki Level I
Includes: Reiki Level II Certification and Manual
This training measurably increases the amount of healing energy you can access and the attunement focuses upon emotional, mental, and karmic healing in the person who receives it. The Reiki II attunement greatly enhances the frequency and depth of the Reiki connection. This class teaches the Healer methods and tools for distance healing, healing past traumas, manifestation, and the use of Reiki symbols to increase the focus and direction of the healing session.
The Price of the training is $240

Reiki Attunements
Initiation to become a Reiki Hands-on Healing Practitioner occurs through a process called Attunement. When you are attuned as a Reiki Healer, your body’s energy channels are opened and cleared of obstructions. You receive an increased connection to your own life force (or Chi/Ki) and also reconnect with the source of universal life force energy. From the time of your first attunement, and throughout the rest of your life, all you have to do as a Reiki Healer is place your hands on yourself or another and the healing Ki (energy) flows through. This energy heals you as it heals others without any concern of depletion.
This process of attunement is what sets Reiki apart from every other form of laying on of hands or touch healing. It is the attunements themselves that are Reiki, and without this process-which must be passed directly from Teacher/Master to student-the healing system is not Reiki, but something else.
Reiki energy is often experienced as a gentle stream of warmth, vibration or a feeling of heat generated in the hands. Through Reiki Attunement, the healer is given a gift that forever changes her /his life in positive and profound ways.
Note on “Distance Attunements” from William Rand, Founder of the International Center for Reiki Training
Some people have been doing distant Reiki attunements to initiate students, giving people the ability to use Reiki by using a distant attunement. This also includes receiving an attunement from a book, from a DVD, or over the Internet.
Rand recommends that distant Reiki attunements for initiation should only be considered an experimental process. While some who have received distant attunements report receiving benefit from the experience, a distant attunement is not a reliable way to receive the ability to do Reiki. Distant attunements do not provide the complete benefit that one is meant to receive by being initiated into the system of Reiki healing.
All of my trainings take place in person and the Reiki attunement is passed directly from myself, as the Reiki Master, to each student individually to ensure proper attunement.

**Cancellations made within less than 14 days of the class start date are non-refundable for the full price of the class. In cases of documented medical emergencies, credit may be extended for future classes, at Tina’s sole discretion.
